RitualMaxx is built so your data stays on your iPhone. There is no RitualMaxx account and no RitualMaxx server. We do not collect, sell or share your data, and the app contains no ads, analytics or tracking.
Alarms and wake-up history, meals and meal photos, macro goals, recipes, health goals and scores, spending plans, transactions, categories and balances. Financial data is stored with iOS file protection and excluded from iCloud and computer backups. API keys and bank access links are stored in the iOS Keychain on this device only.
With your permission, RitualMaxx reads steps, heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep, workouts, weight and body fat to show your health dashboard and set goals, and writes meals, weight and workouts you log. Health data is never sent anywhere by RitualMaxx, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties.
By default RitualMaxx uses Apple Intelligence, which runs on your iPhone; photos and notes never leave the device. If you choose Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude instead and enter your own API key, the photo or text you choose to analyze is sent directly from your iPhone to that company, only when you tap to analyze. With Claude, Anthropic may search the web for the official nutrition labels of products you name; those searches contain only food and product names. Their own privacy policies apply. Gemini's free tier may use requests to improve Google's products.
You can add bank statement files you download yourself, which are read on your iPhone. If you choose to connect banks through SimpleFIN, RitualMaxx sends read-only requests to SimpleFIN using the access link you provide and downloads your transactions to your iPhone. SimpleFIN access cannot move money. SimpleFIN's own privacy policy applies to that service.
The camera and photo library are used only when you photograph a meal or scan a wake-up barcode. Motion is used only for the shake and walk wake-up missions.
Reminders and spending alerts are local notifications created on your iPhone.
Go to Privacy & safety in the app and tap Delete all my data, or delete the app. Data already saved to Apple Health stays in Apple Health and can be removed in the Health app.
RitualMaxx is not directed at children under 13.
